Cat B.T.7 is the model of the motor, not the machine. They were used on a variety of older Singers. You probably have a #99 or #66.I see them at garage sales for $25 or so.

outdoor power equipment.com website will show you the diagram you must type in your model and brand? most of the time the pulleys get bent and out of alignment then the belt twists off once that happens it impossible to reuse old belt ? just make sure it lines up and the tensioner is working?

yes the serial number has the date code on the first 2 letters, but you have to have the maytag code to know how to read it. if you post it here i can look it up for you.
if it looks like perfect condition, yo might be able to sell it for around $150-200 dollars. used ranges are not in high demand and so they wont bring much money to sell them used.
