My kindle fire will no longer allow me to download books from Amazon and it will not allow me to upload large books already on the Kindle.


Have you reached your max? We've found on ours that we can only have 10 books downloaded at once. You must remove some before you can download more. Possibly you can try that.

I have several books in my que on my kindle fire that wont open. I paid for them as far back as last April


What does it say when you try to open them?

Per Amazon: If your book won't open, there may have been an error downloading the book.
To download the book again:
  1. Connect to Wi-Fi.
  2. From Home, tap My Library, and then tap the Downloaded tab.
  3. Press and hold the title of the Kindle book, and then tap Delete This Book.
  4. Tap the Menu icon, tap Settings, tap the Menu icon again, and then tap Restart.
  5. After your Kindle restarts, tap the All tab, and then tap the title of the Kindle book to download it again.

I cannot find two books that I ordered and paid for.. When I try to buy it again i'm told I already bought this book. Where is lt?

Why can I not download books that I have bought since I have added a new credit card and I have updated my account.


I suggest you put your complaint in writing and send it through the old-fashioned post by recorded delivery addressed in very large letters "COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT". Give as much detail as you can naming those you have already corresponded with along with the dates and times.

Tell them you want the glitch in your account sorted and either the books you have paid for or a full refund plus a little for your expenses. Give them 14 days to reply or you will take legal advice.

It may be that you accidentally ordered it twice, and they've just canceled the second order. Check in your Amazon account (Your account-Your orders-Digital orders) and see if you've actually been charged for this book. If you have, and it's really not available for downloading to your Kindle or already on it, contact them through <https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us> with the dates you ordered and paid for the book. I've always found Kindle customer service swift, competent, and fair in adjusting errors.

Bought an e-book. It downloaded on my i-phone but not onto my i-pad


That would be true for all your apps too.Your password should be the same for all Apple devices.
Book is paid for so download it to your iPad. You will never pay twice for any app,book, or music.
