Start by looking at usage in your settings...
Settings > Mobile Data ... this will show you every enabled app and how much data it's used (incl. system services [at bottom])

Sometimes Location Services transfer a lot of data. Check here for most recent usage:
Settings > Privacy > Location Services
(incl. system services [at bottom])

You can also check which apps are using the most battery:
Settings > Battery

And which apps are saving the most data:
Settings > General > Storage

Is the iPhone app, 'OnCamera' legitimate reason

Looks OK to me and sound reasoning behind it. It will use a lot of your data if you are recording in parking lots and not using wifi. In a basement parking you would have no wifi.

How to connect an iPhone to the Internet

Connecting your iPhone to the internet is an easy process. You just simply use any application on your iPhone which uses internet service.

Your iPhone can either use WiFi or Cellular for internet access.

- A WiFi network is simply a wireless network. You can find them at coffee shops, libraries or even at your house if you a router setup for wireless access.

- Cellular data networks allow Internet connectivity over the cellular network. Check your carrier's network coverage in your area for availability.

When you use an application on your iPhone that requires internet service it will either connect to the last WiFi network used, or if that network is not available it will list all available networks in range. You can simply tap on the network you wish to join and it will connect. If the network requires a password it will show a lock icon. If no Wifi networks are available your iPhone will connect over the cellular data network and fees may apply.

To see all the Wi-Fi networks in range, from the Home screen choose Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap a network to join it.

Iphone 6 contacts

Could you say it clearly? You mean you lost contacts on iPhone 6, right? Don't worry. If you have previous backup on your iTunes or iCloud, then you can easily restore your photos from backups.

If you don't have backups, maybe iMyfone D-Back can help you, it allows you to recover data from iTunes, iCloud backup or iPhone directly. You can download it for free scan and see whether it can retrieve your contacts. Good luck!

I got a new IPhone 3. I downloaded a few apps which I never use except for the 5-0 Radio (the free version). I kept getting messages that I was using up my data plan, even though the iPhone was showing I...

That's because you have to shut of the data services when you rely on wifi. all apps are set to use data. However it's going to use the data plan before it even thinks about wifi. So if you shut off the data while at home. You'll force it into wifi mode.

WIFI Connection Problem - connects only to EDGE

If you want to use wifi only when your at home you can go in and manually disable the cellular data so the internet will only be wifi based. Probably saving you MB's and data cost.

Go to Settings, General, Network, then simply turn off the Cellular Data. Then it won't connect anymore to the cell data and rely only on wifi when your connected to it.

And simple follow the same steps and revers the process when your out on the go.
