you must buy the correct puller from a jobber or from artic cat dealer. it looks like a long threaded bolt that screws into the center of the clutch do not attemp to remove any other way you will damage the clutch or even worse the crank shaft. these pullers are usually around 25.00$

the high idle could be a dirty needle check your carbs i have that problem with my 550 rmk the reverse light could be your wire harness check your wires with any wire tester idk the specs for it but also clean your connections with some electrical wire component cleaner and use so di-electrical grease if all else fails you may need to bring it to a mechanic for a small fix like that it should run up that high

My 2004 arctic cat pantera starts with the pull cord but not with the electric start. Turn the key and no response whatsoever. Any suggestions?

check all wiring connections and a switch under the seat like lawnmowers have. there may be a cutout switch under the seat.

What causes the lights to flicker on a arctic cat 1992 ext 550

Usually a bad ground somewhere. Run the wires to see if there are any places touching that are bare. Mice love eating the coating on the wires. Thus causing you to have a flicker when it touches.

you have a bad wire rubbing against a ground,possibly where your handle bars twist on the harness.common problem with this modle.
