SOURCE: Bought an Intermatic T104 Timer for a 120v pool

T104 series intermatic timers are 208/230/277 volt clocks, not 120. I believe you have the wrong model and need a T101 series instead.

SOURCE: Not sure how to wire my Tork 1103 timer

The L terminal would be for your "hot" incoming black wire. The X terminal would be for your load outgoing black wire. Connect both white neutral wires to the blank terminal (notice this feeds the timer motor. The other two terminals (1&2) are not necessary if it is a 110V single circuit.

SOURCE: I have a paragon 8145-20 defrost timer. do you

Link below has wiring diagrams and wiring manuals for 240V 8145-20

I am not expert installing defrost timers.
According to information from Paragon, 8145 is for hot gas defrosting. 8140 series are time initiated, and pressure-or-temperature terminated.
Wiring diagram does not show compressor wired to timer.

The cycle works like this:
Timer is running but defrost is not switched ON.
Fan is ON.
Timer switches ON and activates defrost cycle.
Fan turns OFF. Hot gas valve turns ON for defrosting.
Cycle limit switch is temperature or pressure sensitive.
Cycle limit switch reaches trip point, timer switches OFF.
Hot gas valve turns OFF. Fan turns ON.
So fan is off during defrost cycle.
Hot gas valve turns ON when timer switches ON.
Timer is switched OFF by pressure-or-temperature limit switch.

If you can't get the schematic on Google, test between the black wire and the connectors available. One that has continuity with some resistance is a good candidate. One that has no resistance probably is another connector for black....

Where can I get a wiring diagram for a cold spot model 106.59597993. I need to replace the defrost timer and the new one has a different set up than the old one. The neutral side of the timer motor ha

The part number for that timer should be 482493. I'll venture to say that the black wire is throwing you off. Look at the timer, the pins to be exact, and notice how they are numbered. The black wire slides over pin 3. Once that is done cycle the timer slightly by turning the grey wheel looking thing in the middle. The reason is because the timer comes set in the defrost position and sometimes if not advanced they never come out of it. After this plug it in where the old timer was and plug it in. The machine should kick on and you'll be good to go.

Refrigeration ynit not going into defrost, I need a electrical wiring diagram to help me troubleshoot this one. Where can I get that?

You posted under 8145-20

8145-20 is time initiated, temperature or pressure terminated.
Defrost timer training pdf

The 8145-20 timer:
Power leads connect to terminals 1 and N.
For 120Volt circuit: L is black hot wire to terminal 1, N is white neutral wire to terminal N
For 240Volt circuit: L1 and L2 are the hot leads from 240V breaker

'NO' means normally open, so terminal 3 turns ON only when timer turns on (that is 'time initiated')
So the hot gas valve for defrosting is connected to terminal 3 and turns ON when timer turns ON.
The other wire from hot gas valve connects to terminal N where it completes the circuit

'NC' means normally closed, so terminal 4 is ON at all times EXCEPT when timer turns ON.
That means fan is ON all the time, except when time initiated sequence begins, and then fan turns OFF while hot gas valve is defrosting unit.
The other wire from fan connects to terminal N where it completes the circuit

The cycle limit switch is connected to terminal X.
This is the switch that terminates the defrost sequence and turns timer OFF
Other wire from cycle limit switch connects to terminal N where it completes the circuit

I also suggest you ask a paid fixya experts who can provide additional information by phone.

Kenmore 10674264400. What is the correct wiring connections for the defrost timer board?

here is no specific wiring diagram available but I may be able to help you with this problem. There are tech sheets with wiring and tests available for most model refrigerator.
From the description you give you most likely have a defrost problem. If the defrost system stops working then ice builds up on the coils and eventually causes air flow and cooling problem. If you have a top mount refrigerator the the instructions to enter and run the defrost system are in the image below.
The heater can be checked for how many amperes it's drawing or just listen for the sizzle and pop as the ice melts around the heater.
A defrost failure can be a problem with the timer/control, element or defrost thermostat.
I include additional wiring schematic diagrams of other brands (Maytag), you can compare, wiring connection of the defrost system using adaptive electronic defrost control board instead of the timer.
I hope this information helps with this problem. see in my Blog for more info and submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.

I have an old Searsd Coldspot upright freezer, Thr

on the side of both defrost controls is a diagram black is normally power white is normally nuetral wire the black wire will go to the center of the switchs defrost heater
will be on one side compressor to the other white to the clock moter green was hooked to the metal case if you have a mutitester the clock moter will have constant continuity even after the timer has been turned till it clicks the heater will go on the contacts that have continuity for the shortest amount of time
on the back of most older units was a wiring diagram constant defrost has power even when t-stat is set to off
cumulative the defrost only has power when compressor is running the diagram on old defrost timer should be simaler to the diagram on the old defrost timer the lighter colered tab is normally white wire
hope you have a tester but if you are inclined hook up black and white only turn control till clicks when you have the black wire in the correct position the moter will run no matter where the control is turned
then find wire that starts compresser it will need to be placed on the switch that maintains contact the longest leaving the
heater wire to hook to the contact that stays closed for 20 to 30 minutes
most defrost controls wire the same be careful wiring is 120 volt

I have a Kenmore refri/freezer model 106.7687460. with the icemaker removed the unit will not operate. I need a wiring diagram or which wires needs to be connected at icemaker connection.

Good day,
the defrosting control is a part of the ice maker. If you don't care about appearances, you can wire around it.
First, you have to buy a 8 hour 20 minute Whirlpool defrost timer.
Any sharp appliance parts house counter guy will know what you need. It comes with one of the clock wires un-attached.
As well, you will need 4 insulated 1/4" female spade connectors.
Buy spares to be safe.

Cut the cord from the old ice maker at the ice maker.
There will be 5 main wires and a green ground wire.
Strip about 1" of the green wire's insulation.
There will be 5 wires left. red-orange-black-pink-brown.
Tape the brown wire back it will not be used.

strip back approx. 1/4" of the remaining wires. crimp a spade connector to each of the 4 remaining wires.

The terminals will look like this.... | | | | on the timer.
Notice the space between the first terminal and the second, compared to the rest.
We will call the terminals on the timer from left to right, 1,2,3,and 4 even though the timer will say differently.
Connect the loose wire on the timer to terminal 4.
Plug the red to #1, Orange to #2, black to #3, and pink to #4.
Plug into machine, and run to test. If O.K. then........
Using high quality electrical tape, tape everything exposed well.

Mount the timer to the wall using one of the left over holes from removing ice maker.

Drill a tiny hole, close to that area, and using a good self tapping screw, attach the green grounding wire. Detail your work as necessary.

It's ugly, but it works. Actually, I install the timer inside the case after gutting the works. If you want to try that, DO NOT cut the cord, as explained at the beginning.

Note: Some supply houses may still sell the adapter, already made up. You can check. In either case, you must have a timer in the circuit for defrosting.
