SOURCE: Bought an Intermatic T104 Timer for a 120v pool
T104 series intermatic timers are 208/230/277 volt clocks, not 120. I believe you have the wrong model and need a T101 series instead.
SOURCE: Bought a Intermatic sprinkler timer. need help.
reading the specs i should say its a timer for only one zone. you can use it for one zone switching or for the pump. sorry.
SOURCE: Not sure how to wire my Tork 1103 timer
The L terminal would be for your "hot" incoming black wire. The X terminal would be for your load outgoing black wire. Connect both white neutral wires to the blank terminal (notice this feeds the timer motor. The other two terminals (1&2) are not necessary if it is a 110V single circuit.
SOURCE: I have a paragon 8145-20 defrost timer. do you
Link below has wiring diagrams and wiring manuals for 240V 8145-20

I am not expert installing defrost timers.
According to information from Paragon, 8145 is for hot gas defrosting. 8140 series are time initiated, and pressure-or-temperature terminated.
Wiring diagram does not show compressor wired to timer.
The cycle works like this:
Timer is running but defrost is not switched ON.
Fan is ON.
Timer switches ON and activates defrost cycle.
Fan turns OFF. Hot gas valve turns ON for defrosting.
Cycle limit switch is temperature or pressure sensitive.
Cycle limit switch reaches trip point, timer switches OFF.
Hot gas valve turns OFF. Fan turns ON.
So fan is off during defrost cycle.
Hot gas valve turns ON when timer switches ON.
Timer is switched OFF by pressure-or-temperature limit switch.
