Please note: factory resetting your web browser will revert your web browser back to the way it was when it was first installed! This will perform a wide variety of actions on your web browser, including:

  1. All advanced settings will revert to their default configuration
  2. User names and passwords will have to be reentered
  3. The default search engine and saved search engines will be reset to their original defaults
  4. Homepage button will be hidden and the URL that you previously set will be removed
  5. Default startup tabs will be cleared
  6. New Tab page settings will be reset
  7. Pinned tabs will be unpinned (Chrome)
  8. Content settings will be cleared and reset to their installation defaults
  9. Cookies and site data will be cleared
  10. Extensions, themes and plugins will be disabled
  • Click on "Safari" located in the menu bar in the top left hand corner of the screen
  • Click on "Reset Safari..."
  • Place a checkmark beside all available options
  • Press the "Reset" button
  • Click on the Hard Drive icon located on the desktop
  • Browse to "Users > (Users Home) > Library > Safari folder"
  • Drag every file except "Bookmarks.plist" into the Trash
  • Browse to "User > (Users Home) > Library > Preferences"
  • Locate "com.apple.Safari.plist", "com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist" and "com.apple.internetconfig.plist" and drag them to the trash. NOTE: If "com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist" does not exist, ignore it and just trash the other two files

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to reinstall safari that had came factory on my iPad ??

I think you can't delete Safari as it's part of the (operating) system.
See if this
http://www.ipadforums.net/threads/re-install-safari-app.65429
helps.
" by simply resetting the home screen in Settings, Reset at the bottom, and Reset Home Screen. Changes all your special setting, but brought bac Safari from wherever he managed to hide it. It works the same on iPad. "

How do I find my WEP key for D-link DIR-815

Hi
Reset the router to factory default IP & password with switch / pin hole on back. Use the factory Router IP address & pw to log in to the router using a Browser (Safari, FireFox, Opera, IE, etc) Change settings to whatever you want.
Note: we don't use WEP any more because it's not secure. Use WAP2.

Cannot tap on safari icon anymore and open

Safari can be locked in System Settings - Restrictions. Check to make sure that Safari is enabled. There is not a direct connection between the action of password change and restrictions getting enabled, but it is something that needs to be verified. Also the iPad has a little bit of an issue on occasions after the rare app crash that it does not open right again afterwards. Double tap the one button and close all apps listed. Then try it again. If that does not work, I would power cycle and then try it. If that does not work then try and reboot by holding the one button and the power button for many seconds. If that doesn't work, your only thing else to try is to factory reset or restore to a previous backup when it did work.

My Apple iphone 3g has no Safari icon on the main screen. I have downloaded Safari onto my PC (XP) but have no idea what I am doing! Help please

Restoring the iPhone will put Safari back on the main screen. You can do this by plugging the iPhone into your computer, and when iTunes opens click the Restore button under the iPhone Summary tab, which will let you set the phone back to its factory settings. But make sure you have synced all your music, photos and other data before doing so.
