I believe thats a goodman and it should have 3 speed tap wires coming from motor, normally connecting to a board. 2 are not being used the third is plugged into a relay on that board. Look at wiring diagram to determine what color is for what speed. Swap the wire on the relay for speed change

One of my Fujitsu indoor units will run on high speed,is board the problem?

Most likely a faulty indoor controller board but also possibly a faulty fan motor. Call a tech to diagnose.

Error message U4

Signal transmission error. Indoor and outdoor PCB's cannot communicate. Usually a faulty controller board in the outdoor unit. If the indoor unit otherwise functions normally (can control fan speed, louvres, beeps in replay to all remote buttons) then it is probably OK so check outdoor controller PCB.

8 blinks on unit shutoff,no continuous run

Indoor unit Fan problem. This is caused by the Indoor fan being locked. Check fan motor is plugged in correctly, Electrically & Mechanically sound.
Check the fan motor turns freely, check the AC Voltage supplied to the fan motor, this will vary from 120 V ac at low speed to 170V AC at high speed. If no
Voltage is present the the PCB is faulty, if Voltage is present the fan motor will be Fault.

Indoor fan slow to rotate in heat mode and no heat/compressor

The indoor fan will not run at normal fan speed untill the indoor coil reaches 32oC. This is done so that a cold draught is not felt when outdoor unit is not running. Check to make sure the outdoor unit is operating. If the outdoor fan is running but there is no indoor fan after 5 mins then you must likely have a gas issue or a fault compressor circuit.
