No if they are blocked or private it will not be able to record the phone number.

Hi, I am happy to serve you with this. I have sprint myself. Before you make a call dial *82, area code, and the humber. This will make your number visible. Example:
718-599-5555 you would dial *8217185995555
Go ahead and try. Also ask sprint that you don't need a private number. It seems like they categorized your number as private.
When you do want you number to be private, you dial with *67. The same way as above. This dialing rule applies to phone lines as well.

First thing : the person who's calling you have CLIR . Don't put the same number to phone & SIM. Use the phone memory and also save numbers in international format.

there is no otherway to block a specific number on phone...if u try or go for the call barring option this will blcok or stop ur all incoming calls....this facility (blocking a number) only provide by ur service providers like O2, etc.

call your service provider and see if there is a caller id block on your account if not they will walk you through your phone settings to correct it
