SOURCE: need to remove speaker grill on pioneer speaker

If it is a 95-97, the speaker grills are not designed to come off by themselves. You have to actually take off the door panel. There should be screws all the way around the outside as well as 2 larger screws in the middle of the door covered by plastic caps. Remove all of those and you can finally get access to the speakers themselves. Hope this helps....

SOURCE: How do I remove the cloth grill cover from the front of speaker?

Some speaker manufacturers design their boxes with non-removable front grills. Be thankful that you can remove the back because I've seen these sealed as well. Once inside, the speakers should be mounted from the inside (mounting screws on inside) compared to front mounted. IF they are not then either you're not using the proper method to remove the grill OR it's glued in place and will require breaking the glue bond to release the grill. One note to remember...non-removable grills can mean the manufacturer has something to hide.

SOURCE: removing cover from speaker

pull off the cloth cover by using your nail or a screwdriver to get behind it. its simply a push fit cover.then you can acess the screws. there are 4 deep in the holes where the cloth covers connected to the speaker and there are 4 holding the actual speaker to the face that are plainly visible once cloth front cover is removed.

SOURCE: Removing grill covers of Clarion 6.5" marine speakers

Put a piece of cardboard next to the speaker to protect your boats finish. Then use a flat bladed screw driver to gently pry the grill covers off. you may need to work your way around the perimeter, with a little bit of effort it will pop off. There will be 4 screws under the grills holding the speaker to the boat which are easy to remove.

How do I remove the grills from the Bose 251 Environmental Speakers?

Generally, they are held on with a rubber type adhesive. Try carefully to pull up one corner of the grill edge. If it moves, the above would apply. If it doesn't, don't push the issue. Contact Bose. They can tell you.

How do i remove grill from acoustimass cube speaker ?

This is really easy - although Bose don't tell you how in their user manual.

The grilles are snap on and the fixing lugs are located in the centre of each side.

All you have to do is insert a very thin flat blade screwdriver or knife blade between the grille and the speaker body at the centre of one side and gently lever it up about 1-2 mm.

Then, whilst leaving the first screwdriver (or knife) in place do the same on one of the adjacent sides - the corner of the grille should then "pop" up and you can then remove it gently by hand.

I did this so as to be able to clean a grubby set of white grilles by washing them in soapy water - came out looking like new...

How do you access the front drivers on bose 901 iv speakers

There are staples in th corners and outside edges of the grills. They are the same color as the grills, so they are kinda hard to see. I use a sidecutters to grab them, and pry them out. Just be a bit patient, so you don't damage your grills.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE COVER TO BOSE ACCOUSTIMASS 15?

Your speakers are more than likely similar to my Pioneers. To do any work on them you have to very gently, with a tiny screwdriver, pry of the metal speaker grill evenly all the way around. If this is the case, take you time and be very patient as to not bend the grill. They are put in tightly so the sound doesnt shake them lose. At the service centers they usually just install new grills. Hope this helps. Steve

Bose 901 series II speskers

To remove the stapled grilles, have a look at:

To go further and remove one or several drivers, remember that these speakers are air-tight (acoustic suspension); Don't break gaskets.

Dual Cube speakers

Remove grill from speaker that has the snap connector. Remove 4 screws, gently pull out speaker and padding. Put pressure on connector (making sure the connector is out at the max. position)with middle and index finger at the same time placing other speaker onto connector, slightly turning speaker. You will here it snap in. Just use maximum pressure with fingers. Do not use tools. Connector is made of plastic and can break very easy.
