There are several avenues for you. 1. do a serch on ebay for the battery. 2. try your local two-way dealer or 3. go to Unidens web site.

And the T5100 http://www.giantintl.com/RadioPDFs/Outdated%20Manuals/T5XXX_User_Manual_E.pdf

SOURCE: Would like to know if there is a desktop charger

Uniden does not list an optional AC charger for your handhelds. Your best bet is purchase a low-cost generic unit such as this one which is being offered on eBay:

I am trying to reset Motorola MTX4550 radios to factory settings

Dealer programming. There is a reset in the software, but none without the Motorola software and cables. This prevents employees from "resetting" their radios "by accident".

I need to crack the password in a Motorola XPR6550

Typically this can only be done by the factory, or by the dealer who originally programmed the unit.

Default password j4868a

The switch ships from the factory with no default username and password. If someone set it and you do not know it then you'll have to reset the switch to it's factory default configuration. There is a reset switch on the back of the unit and when pressed/held in a certain sequence the switch will reset. You'll need to look up the proper procedure in the user's guide of the switch.

W do I turn off squelch control on a digitech DC-1065 marine radio hand held 5 Watt

Hi David,

Before I try to give advice, I need more info.

I possess a Digitech DC1065 UHF 80 Channel CB hand held, so there seems to be some confusion here.

I live near Perth, Western Australia.

Firstly, How many channels does your radio have?

If the answer is 80, then what you have is a UHF CB, not a marine band radio.

Marine band is VHF with 87 Channels, in Australia that is, and the default channel is always 16.

Digitech are an Australian radio manufacturer, so you'll get great backup service.

If your radio is not defaulting to Ch16, then I am right about it being a UHF CB.

Therefore, it is useless for VHF anything, let alone Marine band.

I'm almost 100% sure this is a UHF CB in your possession.

Try this to prove me right please.

Reply to me with your Country and nearest city, I'll then be able to find a solution for you real quick, though I believe I already have.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Peter

I have a Motorola RDV2020, when I try to write to the radio it says the memory is corrupted and to perform a factory reset. I tried the device reset with the software connection to no avail. Is there an...

1) You can try the manual reset by pressing the PTT, SB1 and SB2 simultaneously for 3 seconds while turning the radio on. Then reconnect the radio to your computer and try reading the radio. If you are able to read the radio, you can then reprogram the radio.

2) If the above does not work, try cloning a known good codeplug (saved archive of another good unit) into the radio without reading it first.

3) If none of the above work, your radio will need to be seen by Motorola or an authorized dealer with knowledge of the RDX series.

Best regards.
