Battery shows a full charge but when start riding the chair, within 1-2 minutes it stops working. Won't go at all.

Did you charge it at all during the 3 months? Did you store chair on a full charge? Check to see if batteries are dead. Batteries should be disconnected and/or stored on a full charge. If left connected they should be fully charge every week.

loose connection on battery? if new batts then you must charge them for a full 24 - 48 hours before using. but posts must be tight. they never fully charged if connections were loose to start check all connections on chair

Ranger on a full charge stops working within 5 minutes. After 3 minutes or so, it runs again. Is the battery fried? Or is it overheating? It is aprox 1 year old. It is being run on flat ground. Please help

If power stops abruptly then theres a chance there coul be a loose connection and needs investigting. If power winds down and stopsthen yes the battery is probley fried.

The chair will not do anything.It shows the battery as fully charged and and that is it. It was given to me by my mother in law when she passed away because I am also handicapped but had lostb the owners...

This can happen if the power chair is stored without being charged for a while. Batteries retail $75-$150 each depending on the model and brand, you will need two of them.

When you connect the charger, if the light goes to red to green within a few minutes and the battery power does not last more than 1-2 hours or less, it may indicate that that the batteries will not take a charge anymore and need to be replaced. This can happen if the power chair has not been charged in a while or has been stored. Having the chair on or off while charging will not affect the charging process, but you ususally want it to be OFF.

Hi Susan, I repair power wheel chairs, Its possible that your chair has a bad battery on it , all p/chairs have 2 batteries.And even though you show a full charge one battery may have a bad cell in it you need to get both batteries load tested . I think you my find one of them bad. take them out of chair and have them tested.You can get replacement batteries , and have yours tested at a store that sells batteries only, look in yellow pages for a battery store . Yep you have a weak or bad battery. Even tho the chair looks new if they didn't take care of the batteries ie: charge regularly then the batteries went bad just sitting. I would check in your area for a battery warehouse or store that can get you 2 new batteries at a reasonable price. If there is an Interstate battery distributor or store near you the get your batteries there. Your Select uses 2 U1 batteries. Check out my tips on charging your batteries once you have the new ones put in. Hope this helps
