SOURCE: detergent is not completely dissolving

brotha, there is a couple service flashes out there that affect your model. They have to do with poor washability, redesign of the upper spray arm and top spinner. This could be your problem with the spray arms not hitting the soap dispenser properly. You would want to call Sears, I think you would be covered under these service flashes. Other things to check would be water temp. It should be at least 120 degrees entering the dishwasher. If the chopper screen is clogged with gunk, this would prevent a good flow of water to the upper spray arms as well. Catriver...post back.

SOURCE: Bosch Exxcel Auto Option/Detergent tablet does not dissolve?

It seem that your DW drain it's water by syphon action. Check if the drain hose is properly installed as a U shape; otherwise the DW can drain itself at any time, leaving the soap undissolved .

SOURCE: Neff S5433 Dishwasher - Detergent tablet not dissolving

Hi!

Please run the machine without detergent for 2-3 washes. Also try using a little hot water. Also, don't used cleaner and softener together but add softener on the last rinse.

SOURCE: Dishwasher 3 in 1 detergent tablet not dissolving.

I believe that the instructions for using these 3-in-1 tablets is to place it in the open dish detergent cup, rather than in the closable compartment, since the tablet needs to get doused by a lot of water in oder to fully dissolve and be effective in getting the dishes clean.

Since the tablets are designed to dissolve more slowly, they are able to be used for the entire range of washing cycles. If it's a constant problem and you don's have an open detergent cup below or next to your closed detergent dispenser, just toss it into the bottom of the dishwasher instead.

The reason that the tablet isn't getting dissolved fully is because the door is preventing the tablet from dropping all the way out and the door is shielding the tablet from quite a bit of water spray.

Another option is to take a look at your owners manual for the dishwasher and see if they recommend these all-in-one tablets versus regular powered detergent and liquid rinse aid.

Hope that helps and best regards!

Lavamac front loading 28kg commercial washing machine(coin operated). When I press "cold" wash, why is the warm water coming out?

Your washing machine has to release some warm water even when liquid detergent is used. The purpose of the brief release of warm water is to dissolve powdered detergent and/or flush liquid detergent residue.

Even on a cold wash cycle, some hot water is added to dissolve detergent if powdered detergent is being used.

Laundry detergent not dissolving

If you can let hot water to mix more with the cold when the washer fills, that will help the detergent to dissolve. If that's not an option, you can heat up about two quarts of water on the stove and when very hot, turn down the heat and add your detergent, then stir it till dissolved, and then add it to the washwater and clothes.

Should there be water left in the detergent dispenser after the laod is done? I don't want to get mildew if the machine isn't used for a while.

I have the same problem with my washer. Sometimes it helps to hold the drawer open for a few minutes and the water seems to drain. Keep the front door of the washer closed or the water will end up on the floor.

Clothes stink on top load model

Continually washing with cold water and liquid detergent can cause a buildup of undissolved detergent between the inner and outer tubs (unseen). This buildup of detergent feels like grease and will pick up dirt from each load and hold it on the grease surface. Over time...the dirt held in the greasy detergent can give off an odor.

This problem may be able to be cleared up by running many loads of hot water (to dissolve the detergent) with no clothes or detergent. Switching to powder detergent will also keep the liquid detergent gel from forming. If you like liquid I recommend using hot water for ALL your white loads. This should make every third or fourth load hot and help dissolve buildup from previous loads.

If you are not in the habit of using cold water and liquid detergent consider other sources of the odor. Some typical examples are sewer or septic backup through the drain and into the machine between the tubs where you can't see it. Also, the laundry is usually in the basement if you have one. The basement is the lowest part of the house drainage system and if you are developing a slow drain you may find some dirty water backing into the machine if it can't go down the drain quickly enough. Usually these drainage issues show up as a floor leak when you drain the washer in the spin cycles...but not always.

Good Luck.

Try using a liquid type detergent instead of the powder before looking for other problems. Are you using cold water for the wash?
