Check that your water pump is working and not blocked up as the unit will keep swicthing off if it can not get rid of the water.

SOURCE: The Intertherm AC Model B3BV-030K-A is blowing warm air

If you don’t see any frost on the suction line or big line on the furnace
(that goes from the furnace to the outdoor unit) and the filter and coil are clean then you are probably low on refrigerant.

When removing a ceiling cassette type air conditioner do i need to remove the gas before removing the ceiling unit

If your removing any type of Ac system, you will want to remove the gas. Some units have a pump down feature as in central units, but i have not seen to many on mini's as most of them use variable speed technology, thus no valves to close properly, just depends on the type of unit you have with what will need to be done..

How do you know remote is working?

Fresh batteries in remote? Will AC turn on by manually at ceiling assembly? Little green or red light on at ceiling assy? Have you checked Carrier site for manual to download?

I have a neo plasma LG air conditioner, i am having problems switching on to cooling, sometimes it works, other times it is just circulating the air, making the room hot, it is 4 yrs old.

Possible problem with the thermostat which might be sensing the wrong temperature and so is not switching ON the compressor. So if the AC works once it is ON then the gas and compressor seems good. So you must check the thermostat and control board. Set the AC to a lowest temp and try.

Weed eater pulled out red & white wires from thermostat at a/c unit. Red went to yellow and white to ?. Unit is an intertherm unit, model unknown but schematic #703909b

look on indoor unit to see what they used if only ac unit then only 2 wires needed common usually blue or black and yellow if heat pump then orange for rev valve o term on stat r red y yellow then white or brown for call for elect heat in defrost and blue or black for common also take some 3/8 clear tube to incase the stat wire and zip tie it to top of line set to help stop this

Weak flame in intertherm furnace

Ok, so we can rule out the ignitor. (standing pilot systems can develop problems that will cause such symptoms.)

Check the gas pressure, make sure you are getting 11 to 14 PSI.

You need that after the regulator all the way to the manifold.

Also check for cracks in the heat exchanger, causing the wind from the blower to distort the flame pattern enough to cause improper contact with the flame sensor.

Make sure the burners and flame channels are clean of rust, and dibri build up, allowing the flame to properly contact the sensors.

Heating problems

It sounds like the unit is going into a defrost cycle, which is normal for heat pumps and means all is working ok when it gets around 35 or colder they start to do this more often when the red light goes back off , the outdoor fan should come back on. You may also notice steam (may look like smoke) coming from outdoor unit. Is that what happens??

Intertherm to Honeywell thermostat

Typically if you have a yellow wire in the "y" terminal blue is used as common or "c". As far as your jumper from rc to rh, that will depend upon what type of heat you have. If all of your heat and cooling come from your packaged unit outside, yes you will need the jumper. If this does not work maybe you have a bad breaker or transfomer.
