SOURCE: igniters are not working right
when you turn any burner control to lite all ignitors should click this is normal industry wide. the ignitors are controlled by switches that are placed over the valve shafts they are wired up together so thats why they all click when you only operate one valve don't worry about it. the ignitor stays on untill you back the valve off a tad this is also normal.

sounds like you have a bad switch. maybe on the large burner.. some of those switches can be replaced without the whole harness.

when you cleaned the unit you may have gotten water in side the igniter, dry it out w/ a hair dryer. Once dry should work .

SOURCE: Have a Creda gas cooktop. This evening all four igniters began to spark without turning the burner control. All were in off position. Sparks of course stop when the plug is pulled. The cooktop was not
