SOURCE: HOW TO INSTALL A MOTOROLA H550 BLUETOOTH HEADSET

Usually to pair a new device like that, there would be some trick to set it up. Im not familiar with your exact model, however ive had success with holding some buttons in.

Usually you would hold down the power button, or perhaps the volume up and down together, hold them down for a few secs and the light will go blue/red/blue/red to show its in pairing mode.

SOURCE: pairing

With the microphone closed, push in the call button. It should turn purple within a second or two. When it does release it and as quick as possible flip open the microphone. The light should stay purple and it is now in "pairing mode"

SOURCE: old phone quit and blue tooth won't pair with new phone

Hold the volume buttons on the side while holding the call button for 10 seconds. It will reset the bluetooth and remove any other devices it may have been paired to. Then turn it off, back on and it will eventually stay lit blue and then you need to set it up through your phone. I hope this helps, I had the same problem and mine is working fine!

Why does my kinivo bth220 headphones have a flashing red light on them no matter how long i charge them and they will not turn on

The batteries won't charge. You might want to google around for replacement batteries.

First I'd try a factory reset. PRess the +, - and multifunction button for 6 seconds until the blue light flashes and it shuts off. When you turn them on next, it's in pairing mode and try again.

I found my son's plantronics 220. Been in storage a year! I have it charging now. the light is red and ever so often it flashes a blue color for a instant. Is it still good?

Normally the flashing red / blue light indicates the headset is in pairing mode. The red light indicates it's charging but the occasional instant blue is a mystery. The user guide below has the instructions for turning the headset on and off, and pairing to a phone. I would suggest you charge it up, follow the pairing instructions and see what comes up.

I have a h700 bluethooth and dont have a manual. what color should the light be when connecting to the phone, in use, and charging.

The indicator turns red when charging and turns green when fully charged. The headset will flash in purple when it is in discovery mode (mode where it is looking for a device to be paired with it). If it has already been paired with a device it is blue and then flashes blue when it is paired. The link for the manual is below. http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/QG-H700_9499A88O.pdf

Hi I have an emerson em227 bluetooth and haver lost the direction. I need the instruction to start the paring process

You must put you headset in pairing mode, prior to trying to pair it with your phone. In order to do it, starting with it turned off, press and hold the power button for some 10 seconds, until the indicator light is alternately flashing in red and blue. It is in pairing mode now. Then, bring your phone close to it, and make its bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on your phone' screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or passkey, or PIN) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode (blue light flashing every few seconds).
By the way, If its user guide happens to be missing, or, rather, you need further informations on how to pair it with your phone, feel free to download it from this location.
Regards, Carlos

How to reset bluedio av890

Switch it off.

Press the on off switch for little long duration, till the Light glows steady/permanent (without blinking).

At this stage it can be connected to a device enabled with Blue tooth in "switched on" condition using the passcode "0000" (four times zero)

Activate pairing mode

Holding down the multifunction button for eight seconds puts the unit in pairing mode and an LED lets you know the status of the headset. Flashing blue and red means the H4 is in pairing mode, flashing blue means it is paired and flashing red means the H4 needs charging.
