The first problem was always standby mode.... get back the original eprom IC 24CO8WP in to the PCB, then find the original remote control of you TCL Tv tcl-14175 then you power On In the Remote control while your TV is in Standby mode! then you see your tv is going ON... Because your unit is in Child lock Mode....

SOURCE: No video out. It worked fine fir a year plus and suddenly stopped showing video. Audio is fine.

This could be a very simple problem. On the a/v cord jack, look on the part that gets plugged into the x-box. There is a switch that allows you to change from HD to standard format. I had this problem when I took my x-box to my brothers and he hooked it up to an HDTV. All you have to do is set the switch back to standard (or HD).

I have Sanyo M7755K mini boom box tape recorder. It is playing and I hear only audio from one speaker. The other speaker is silent. can you help me to solve the problem?

Check the stereo Balance control. If it is set to one end, that speaker won't output sound. If found the setting to this is set to mid-point, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. What else should I check on my Sanyo DP42840?

This could be the tuner overheating and sending a signal from the tuner board CPU to the power board to instruct the tuner to turn off. Check that there is adequate ventilation in the TV. Try testing with a fan to see if that changes the behaviour of the loop that you get.

Sound isn't coming through on the sanyo ds315

Check its speaker/s first. If found OK, check and replace damaged component/s at its audio output stage circuit. Keep an attention to the audio output IC. For more information go to

I have a 65 inch Mitsubishi rear projection HD TV. The screen went blank today. I have cable hooked up to the componant input and I get no sound or audio. If I hit input a few times I get static sound...

Does the input menu appear on the screen when you press input? If so its probably the IC Regulator 9v supplying the video board. If the green light on the front is blinking then powering off it is one of the 7 capacitors and you should just replace them all, 30-35 bucks. If the power stays on and its just your video isnt coming on(audio as well) it is the IC Regulator. Mine called for the part - BA09FP IC REGULATOR 9V It is about half the size of a pinky nail and located directly behind the video input board in the back of the tv. It has two prongs on the left side and one wide tab on the right. It solders directly to the top of the board and not through it. It says BA09 on the chip. This fixed the problem for me.

My Bose Wave Radio, Model AWR1-1W, has no sound and the lights all come on the display, showing all displays.

I found a solution on a similar problem saying the audio amp IC is damaged. You will probably need to replace this. Unfortunately I don't know which IC it is.

Toshiba no video sound is fine

If you can see the menus this means the CRT, high voltage, scan amplifiiers, the output video processor, and CRT drive circuits are working. The fault is most likely in the video section of the input select circuits.

Maybe the Toshiba parts department can supply a service manual for your set. With a signal source, a scope, and a DVM, an experienced technician can troubleshoot your set to locate where the failure is occuring.

I have not serviced this model, but in other models I have found the main input select IC to be defective. In some cases I also found a bad voltage regulator IC that supplies the input section has failed.

Sanyo DVD player DWM-400 won't do work

I have a similar problem with the Sanyo DWM-400. I also cannot turn power off. Even when I unplug it and then again plug in the power cord it will come back on after several minutes all by its self. It will then work okay for a few minutes and will play a DVD and will suddenly quit showing a picture. It seems that something is overheating shortly after turning it on. After letting it sit and cool down for a while it will play again but only for few minutes. Although I have had this player since April 2004 it has rarely been used. I estimate it only been used no more than 10 hours total. With so many buyers having this problem Sanyo should issue a recall on this model.

Receiver Shorting Out?

The power supply regulator is bad. it a bad regulator ic erroe transistor or even a bad capacitor. if you have the proper equipment and know how to troubleshoot solid state electronics, you should have No problem finding this fault. If your not trained to repair electronics, most likly this set will not be worth repairing or spending any money one.
