I have pfaff 4260 sewing machine.On stiching thread does not interlpcked and fabric can not b stitched properly. I did not find any service centre in Mumbai india. What to do?

I would suggest that you call pfaff because if you do not have a pfaff dealer where you live then you will have to pack it up and ship it to a pfaff dealer that is near to you. Good luck oh and make sure to insure it. Hope that helps

How do i raise the presser foot?

it should be a silver lever on the back side on the left of the machine. it sticks out so it pretty easy to see,,it's called the presser foot lever

Here's a link to the Google froogle search results, they are a little pricey though... You might find a cheaper one in your area by calling around and asking for a used one.

A search in ebay under PFAFF Sewing machines might show you what is listed for your specific model. If it's only your foot controler, you have a high percentage of finding one.

Fabric does not move forward

Either the presser foot does not have enough pressure on it or it is not lowering all the way to the fabric.
Remove the fabric.lower the presser foot.If the presser foot has no or little pressure look for the pressure regulator on top the machine or on the left side and see if you can make it tighter. Not all machines have this.Look to see if there is space between the foot and the teeth when you turn the handwheel. If there is space then the machine needs an adjustment.

The footpedal in my 1209 PFAFF gets hot when I sew.

If your machine is turning easily the following applies.
This is a carbon pile foot control (Not Electronic) and when in use for an extended period of time(like doing embroidery,piecing quilts) the foot controller will get hot. There's nothing you can do about this except wear shoes.
If your machine is not turning freely, then if needs to be seen by a technician to find out why.

Twin needle

Any universal twin needle should work, there is no attachment. Just don't set your stitch width too big if you are in zig-zag!
