K M c654e black imaging unit. Was taken out and put back in. Either says wrong unit replace with right one. Or when it accepts it as right one it prints only about a third of paper. Blank on rest.

While putting Imaging Unit inside the machine, make sure the contact/chip area is actuating/hitting properly to the contact assy on the body of machine.
Here Black IU has two part- Black Drum and Black Developing Unit. I think only contact of pins causing problem.
At Frond side of drum unit below is Chip.
and same corresponding to developing unit u can find 3 pins assy.
while closing contact should be proper.

What solution for samsung clx3175 asking intall image unit

Dear ,
Kindly refer the following link,
http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/printers-accessories/CLT-R409/SEE
This imaging unit needs to be replaced after it complete its life (6000 color pages/ 24000 mono images)
To replace first you need to takeout the toners and waste toner container ( a transparent/black container on the left hand side)
after that you may take out the imaging unit.
after that put the new imaging unit.

put the waste toner container and put back the toners.

If problem persists please provide your feedback.
Best Regards

The printer did not reset when we replaced the black toner AND the imaging unit

Hi this issue may be casued because when you replace the toner and imaging unit they must be new and not taken from another machine i am sure if you put a new out of the box toner and drum unit out of box it will work

Remove and reset the Black Image Unit. If this doesn't help the Image Unit may need to be replaced.

When I take a picture the lcd shows all black? Is there a chance that I'm using the wrong CF card or is it a bigger problem?

Fuji had a problem with the CCD unit and put out a bulletin years ago to send them back and they would replace, but they no longer can do that, as the part is not made anymore. I had the same problem.

Black cartridge not working properly

If the Black cartridge gear is not operating you need to get a replacement from the Cartridge supplier.

Else if the black print is not proper then you have to replace the Black developer from imaging unit. followed by firmware update.

Technical Black Imaging Unit Replaced,Error message still shows

These units are automatically reset with a fuse. When you put the imaging unit in it will completes a connection which resets the count then simultaniously blows the fuse. Sometimes the fuse blows before the reset, which is what it sounds like happened here. The machine should print normally but the error will persist until the unit is replaced with a new one. Is the the imaging unit an OEM unit or remanufactured? Whoever you got the unit from should replace it as defective free of charge. If it is OEM you might have to go through Xerox to get it replaced. I don't know if the Big Box stores will.

Kyocera cs1820

c 7980 is a warning that the waste toner container on the imaging unit is full, This usually means the life of the imaging unit is finished or close to being finished. If u dont want to replace it yet, a quick way is just to empty it. on the left and right of the unit at the back you will see 2 screws take those out then remove the small covers and just poor the toner out(DONT BLOW INTO THE UNIT). put tje covers back on, clear off any spilt toner and put the unit back into the machine
