SOURCE: Gas supply keeps cutting out

I'd be checking what the operating gas pressure is correct - when it's operating, not when it's stopped or off. My suspicion is that the gas pressure is incorrect & the regulator needs adjusting, or that the gas bottle is simply too small for the heater & can't evaporate enough gas to keep it going. You really need a gas expert to advise on site. Regards, Greg (Aussie gasfitter - too far to do house calls)

SOURCE: I have an AO5 error

This indicates a power fault inside the actual heater. Have you tried unplugging the heater, letting it sit for a good 2 minutes, and replugging it back in? If the problem persists you will unfortunately need a repair. Please let me know if you need more information on this. You can also contact comfort zone, the manufacturer, located in Canada, at 780-420-6572.

Thanks so much for the question,

Tim

The infrared wont turn on , no heat

Because it is an infrared... It likely uses a common heat lamp bulb. (yes just like in the restaurants where they keep your entree warm until picked up by the waitress, or the type in a chicken coop). Locate and replace the bulb.

I have a comfort zone heater 1500W Portable Quartz infrared heater CZ-1500WT For the first two years it worked perfectly - two weeks ago the electric plug end that goes into the receptacle gets...

Unless you want a new house, stop using that heater immediately. There are severe internal electric problems with your heater. Since it's already 3 years old, I'm not sure it's worth trying to repair. With what you described, I'm surprised it didn't trip one of you circuit breakers.

Be safe, Don't continue to try to use this heater.

Cz 446 comfort zone ceramic heater shuts off

Hi, the problem you are having is the thermostat control, and dimming the lights is a indication of the neutral side of the control if faulty. It is drawing enough amps to make you're home lights blink, so I would stop using it now and if you are inclined to replace this control yourself I would. If this is something you would not care to take on, I would get an estimate for repair at a appliance repair store, compared to replacing the unit with a different one.I am sorry to tell you this, but it will only get worse and what I have recommend is for you're safety.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7
PS Please keep me informed of the situation, as I would love to be of any help you may need.
