Do I reuse 2 batteries for my Umbro chrono watch?

Normally the Umbro Chronograph watches having analog and digital clock works on single battery. When u put the battery inside ur digital is working fine but some times for analog hands do not move due to the loose button which is used to move the watch hands. So pull it out again and insert it agin gently till tick sound comes and u r good to go.

Let me know if ur watch is working successfully:)

I bought a Neff daily black analog watch at Zumiez about a month ago as a present for a friend. the problem is that the minute hand and hour hand do not move... you can move them to set the time but once...

I would take it into a jeweler and they will put a new battery in it for $4. If that fixes it all well and good, if not it cost you 4 bucks to prove it needs to go back under warranty.

You should change the battery, it is the cheapest thing to try. The batteries can be very old before they are installed and could have been in the watch a long time before you got it.

Brand New Watch second hand won't move. won't keep time.

The watch has a problem in the timing module and the second hand won't move (a cog wheel issue) this is clearly a manufacture defect that can not be remedied and should be returned since it is under warranty.

I have a watch which I use sparingly for less than two years. The watch stopped working even with a new battery.

mcdevito75 here, Sometimes not useing a watch is just as bad as over use. Try to set the time and move the hands around a bit, the mechanism is most likely a little stiff, you can also try to tap the watch with something that won"t hurt the finish, (Handle of a Steak knife) at the 2--and 4 O"clock position on the watch and at the 9 O"clock position on the watch caseing not the crystal (glass)

The hour & minute hands on my pulsar nx14-x001 do not move. the second hand quivers, but also does not move. the digital time and other functions are okay. HELP!

Without knowing the model of the watch i would say you need a new battery. It is typical for this style of watch to have two batteries or one lithium battery. In either case the analog movement will drain faster than the digital portion of the watch and will stop working first.

Tail moves but not hands

Jenny, one of the batteries is for the tail alone.
It has nothing to do with the movement.
We know that battery is good, (because the tail is wagging).
The 1st thing I would be doing is checking the other battery (s).
If the batteries are good, becase you just got the clock, take it back under warranty.

Display and all functions other than time have ceased to function

I had this problem after the battery was replaced at a jewellers. It turns out they had used the wrong battery as it only lasted a week.
