Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
I was playing a game on it and decided I had enough and shut it down. About 1 minute later I decided to play again and that's when the humming came followed by nothing.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I believe this is a common problem
possibly a manufacturing fault (although I doubt Nintendo would admit to it).
See my other post: "DS Shutting Down"
I have two that have been well looked after and both are doing the same thing.
Both purchased around Dec '06
It's not the battery, so don't post saying that.
I've already tested with a new battery and also put my battery into a friends DS Lite where it worked perfectly.
Definately something to do with the buttons, as you can play stylus based games for ages without any problems. (eg: Mahjong)
Anyone who repairs these might know what the actual problem is. I'm guessing Nintendo just swap the main board or replace the unit. Unfortunately mine are both just out of the 12month warranty.

Try messing with some the of the BD settings.
It's under SETTINGS, VIDEO SETTINGS.
Let me know if this helps.
I can't say exactly which one you need to change and don't worry about messing anything up, you can always just change them back.
Let me know which one fixes your problem.
Best of luck!

SOURCE: xbox 360 shuts down on its own
This is a built in temperature overheating contermeasure. Make sure your xbox is not in an enclosed area or on a carpet. If posssible, place a fan next to it and see if that gets you increased playtime. If it does, then you know its a problem with it overheating.
Is this only playing a specific game? Every Game? Demos? Listening to Music? Watching Dvds?
Playing a game puts the most stress on the 360.

Hmm. I'm not quite sure exactly what the problem is, but if your playstation doesn't turn at all when you flip the back switch it means your harddrive is probably fried.

This depends greatly on what features you want in your
dartboard. If you like playing a certain
game of darts then you need to ensure that the board your buying has that game
built in as one of the options. I have a
few sites for you; nevertheless I strongly advise you do some shopping around
of your own.
