Question about Philips Magnavox 50ML8105D 50" HDTV DLP TV
Yesterday, my 55" 55p8288a lost its picture and sound, but the tv still turns on. I was watching it, there was a white flash, and at first there was still sound, but no picture. Then I turned the tv off and back on again, and now there is neither sound nor picture. I've checked the A/V cables and everything is still in order. Could it be a burst tube inside? I tried calling Magnavox to see if it could be serviced (their support website didn't recognize the serial number, maybe because its too old?) but their automatic voice answering system kept hanging up on me. Please help!
Sounds like the main board maybe going out or is gone and the lamp may have went as well
