    How to set time on fitbit


    There are some specific things you can do depending ion what Fitbit you have, but without knowing that, here is some general advice. Theoretically the Fitbit should keep the time updated though syncing. I would try these steps in this order. Check if your device has the correct time before moving on to the next step.
    1. Re-sync your Fitbit to your phone/computer
    2. Check your settings on your dashboard to make sure you have the correct time zone selected.
    3a. If you sync to a phone make sure you do not need to update the app then try disconnecting and reconnecting the Fitbit (in your Bluetooth settings).
    3b. If you are syncing to a computer, then try re-syncing your Fitbit. you might need uninstall/reinstall your software and make sure you are running the most recent version.
    4. Try removing the device in the Fitbit app (should be under device settings) and then reconnecting it.
    5. Try resetting your Fitbit (specific instructions depend on which one you have).

    Hopefully one of those steps will get you on the right time, but if not, try resetting your Alta by doing the following:

    Plug in your Alta in a USB (computer, or adapter) as you normally would to charge it. It should begin charging.
    Press the button on your charging cable three times within eight seconds, briefly pausing between presses. (The button is on the end of the charging cable).
    Eight seconds after the first button press, you'll see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This means Alta is restarting.
    After you see the logo you can unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

    Hopefully one of those things will get you on the correct time :)

    The time on my fitbit is incorrect. How do I correct. Currently it registers 9:43, but, I'm on Eastern Standard Time.
