We had purchased a Reizen talking atomic alarm clock from Maxi Aids 9/22/16 and now the talking part does not work. Is there any way to return it and get a replacement? Thanks, Lori

After a bit of searching I found a makers name for you. I trust that this is the make you have (I doubt if there is more than one!)
If you go to "www.accessible-devices.com/reizen.html", this is an instruction sheet for Reizen talking watches.

This clock will set it's self in a 24 hour time frame. You need only set the time zone your in.

If it does not correct it;s self change walls and location in your house.

The transmitter is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. this station transmits the time codes and is best received at night.

Hope this tip helps.

SOURCE: I have a westclox atomic alarm clock - model #700...

I have the same alarm clock the damn thing gives me a heart attack when I wake up. All in all I have the instructions for your clock.

Simple on the back of the device there are five buttons hold down the one that is labeled mode/set then the display will flash use the oC|oF/Up key or Wave/Down key to change the keys and the mode/set the to move between each field.

If you press (not hold) the Mode/Set key you can change the alarm, change the numbers using the degreeC|DegreeF/Up or Wave/Down key to change numbers accordingly.

To turn the alram and snooze function on or off press the Alarm/on\off key.

What I just said may sound complicated but of you press the buttons as I told you then you should have no problems what so ever.

I lost the instructions for the talking Reizen atomic clock and both of them are now an hour off. How do I reset the time?

You need to change the 'Zone' settings on both; the signal from Boulder, CO can't tell where you are, you have to make the correction locally and then they will track the signal accurately as long as they can receive it.

My blind friend has a Reizen Infra Red Radio Controlled Talking Alarm Clock with Remote Control, Item# LVS1048. I cannot find a part# on the device. He does not have a manual describing the setting of that...

There is a company called Maxiaids that sells a lot of Reizen products. They may able to help you or your friend find either replacement parts or the manual that would give better information. Their website is www.maxiaids.com.
Good luck!
