SOURCE: 6 AAs in canon xti grip ...is it ok or is the NB-2LH better?

Yes, it's sufficient to operate the camera provided you have the proper grip for your model.

SOURCE: Record Changer Arm

When the carousel reaches the correct count, the computer sends a signal to the gripper motor to start it. You could have a bad motor or a bad computer. But!....if the little switch at the front of the machine is in the off position (Gripper motor On/Off) that will give exactly the same effect. It's easy to knock Off when you are loading CDs.

SOURCE: Wurlitzer model 556

Are you sure you mean 556? Sounds an odd model to me. The model number is on a black metal plate the size of a credit card on the back of the jukebox (usually).
Manuals can be found at www.victoryglass.com (USA) and The Jukebox Man in the UK.

SOURCE: Record return arm doesn't go low enough to pick up record

Lubrication issue. Use some light oil (NOT 3 in 1 household - it has paraffin and will eventually clog up the parts) on all of the arms moving parts.
Be sure to get in between the gears and the moving cylinders that clamp the record.
This should resolve it. Rock Olas are known for this issue. The original grease dries up, and people neglect to lubricate their jukeboxes, even though, like a car, they are machines that require it from time to time.

I'm unsure as to what you are looking for in a solution, but the problem as described could be a multitude of things ranging from a worn belt, a broken lever, inadequate lubrication or many other things. It sounds to me that you might be best served by contacting a repair shop in your area.

Hello,

Have you checked all the fuses or circuit breakers on the jukebox?
Are all the power supply led's lit?
Make sure that all the connection plugs into the boards are fully seated and making good connections.

After checking the above if the fault remains you will need to contact a Wurlitzer service engineer.

I have a Slik AF2100 and the locking devise does not hold strong enough, ie the grip on the ball is lose and the cameras weight is making the ball slip, is there a way of getting it tight again? Cheers

Hold the yellow trigger in slightly to release the ball head, then rotate the section with the ball clock wise until the grip on the ball suits your camera setup.

Unable to pinch CD, when selection is made.

I may be able to help you. Is this the Wurlitzer princess jukebox which holds 120 CDs? If so, the problem is most likely with the clamper which opens and closes to grip the CDs. If so, email me and I can give you detailed troubleshooting information and repair advice. Rod Stebelton, tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

Delayed vocal

If you're recording to an audio program on your computer (e.g., Cubase), there typically is a slight delay in the tracks you record with the first one (such as a slight delay in the vocal when layering over the guitar track). ou can change the delay in the "Preferences" for the audio card in your computer or you can remove the delay manually.. I do the latter. I record using the Audacity 1.3.3. program on a Mac G4. I find that get a 0.3 second delay in tracks layered onto the first track. So, after I record a track, I cut the first 0.3 seconds froom the beginning of the track (I give myself at least 10 seconds of "dead air" at the start. and keep playing the tracks until they're synchronized. Takes a good ear, but really is the best way to synchronize the tracks.
