I have lost a total of 112 chefville dollars in the past two week. First 72 chefville dollars disappeared and a week later 45 chefville dollars disappeared, I have gone from 117 to 5. Until the lost amount of chefville dollars are returned I will not purchase any more dollars. Please return, it seems every time a large change is done to the programs, it becomes the players loss.

So i spilt coffee on my laptop about a week ago and it starts to turn on and then wont I asked the geek squad guys they told me to leave it in the garage for a week and then try working with it and it...

Your laptop has suffered from the dreaded coffee spill !

If you have already allowed the laptop 1 week to "DRY OUT" and it still doesn't work then you have a serious problem.

Check the battery to make sure there is sufficient power supply to the laptop and it may be helpful to take the battery out of the laptop and check it for wetness.

If this proves ok then you need to look further

It means that the coffee has entered deep into the electronics and possibly caused a short circuit!

Don't throw the laptop away just yet. You will need to take the laptop to someone skilled who can run a test on your laptop in order to make a diagnosis. This may also mean stripping the laptop out of it's case to check/test hardware etc.

Ring around and get the lowest price you can and try to tell them everything you know about the laptop as this may save you money.

Unless you personally have the skills to pull apart your laptop then sadly it is going to cost you some money.

ps. if your laptop is several years old then it may not be worth spending the money on it.
However if it is reasonably new then spending maybe $50-$100 could be money well spent.

What happens if I don't replace timing belt at 102,000? Will it quit and kill the engine? Or will I just have to get it towed and replace the belt?

If it breaks there is always a possibility of the valves getting bent. So instead of $50 to $100 dollars for a new timing belt (do it yourself) you will easily spend 10 times that removing the heads and replacing the valves. Not to mention the unexpected down time and the added expense of the tow. throw in the couple of weeks that it will take you and you will probably have to invest in a bunch of special tools. thats a lot of your time and money spent for what could have been a Sunday afternoon project.

It is always much cheaper to replace before they break.
