I am trying to install a corsair H100i V2 on my asus rampage extreme iii mother board. my case already takes up the usb connection on the board. I was wondering it there was a second one I could use>

I cannot see one and the only ones that I can see that would fit the connection for the usb part of it are the OC station one and the IEEE 1394 port.

You can get PCIe card to extend the number of USB ports available, if you have spare slots.

Make sure that the Power connector are properly connected, also check if the CPU is properly seated to get POST from the Board, since the CPU is new as well as the board you can clear NVRAM on the board take the CMOS Battery out for a couple of seconds then put it back in the CMOS slot then try to turn the unit back on, also check all the rams if properly seated.

When you turn the computer on, it should "beep" once, if all the hardware (RAM, CPU, video) is working correctly. If it beeps more than once, something is wrong. If there are no beeps, check that the PC Speaker is correctly attached to its pins on the motherboard.

Try the RAM and the video in another motherboard, to confirm that they are working correctly.

Try a different power-supply -- it should output several different voltage-levels, but if it's not 100%, then the motherboard won't function at all.

I can't find how to connect my dvd writer to the Asus Rampage II Extreme motherboard. The missed pin in the connection cable is in a different location

If you are trying to connect your DVD Writer using an IDE cable, then:
1. First, make sure that you are connecting the IDE cale in the correct direction. Make sure that the Red (or colored) wire in the cable aligns with pin 1 in the connector.
2. If the cable & connector are aligned correctly, then try to find a replacement IDE cable without a missed pin or with the missed pin in the correct position. This can cause no harm to neither the DVD Writer nor the motherboard.

Unable to boot up

The problem is of the display side so if possible connect the pci
display card or can repaire the mother board, If not then only solution is to change the mother board.

Pluging in extra usb ports/Mic and headphone jacks from the tower

Answer me this. You're case is an Antec tower? The motherboard is the Asus P4P800 SE ? Is this correct?
If you have you're manual you can see what goes where on the board for front panel connector page. 2-31. (This diagram shows you how to connect the front mic & speaker).
To connect the Antec's front USB ports plug the case USB front connectors onto USB56 & USB78 shown on page. 2-30. Most case wires are already set within their USB connectors & the Antec's front USB connector should fit right on the mother board's pin's. If you need you're user manual, download from Asus by clicking on this link.

Good Luck!
