"He seldom carries a checkbook," said Fisher House President David Coker.

People probably just assumed the new house was the result of Washington's donation.
Four months later, according to nonpartisan, Washington came through with his donation.
Weiskopf would say only that the donation was one of the largest in the organization's history, reported. Washington also agreed to serve on the Fisher House board of trustees, he said. points out Washington's reputation for philanthropy.
