Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Run it with the cover off and see what is happening. Chances are something is physically out of place and you should be able to fix it. Check the home lock. When the sled goes all the way to the left, it should engage a little lever on the top. This tells the sled it is at the home position. If this lever is out of place, then the sled doesn't know where it is at.
