SOURCE: baby lock ellure plus

HI,

Here is the solution:
leave the USB plugged in then turn off your computer and
back on. Seems like it recognizes it at that point. Once you unplug your device you have to do the same routine to get it to recognize it again. It will recognize it as "removable disk F"

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to accept the solution as fixya.

SOURCE: embroidery downloads baby lock ellure plus

If not a USB model, you have to get the disgustingly expensive Babylock palette box ($500) and software with the blank card to transfer the designs from cd or files. Beware of making the embroidery too small, it can make the stitch density too great and then the machine cannot sew the design. There is software called Density Works to deal with this problem.

For some reason your model has vanished from the support pages!

Check all the plugs, and there might be a small glass fuse on the control board, but getting to it might be an issue.

How do I show the embroidery pattern from the flashdrive on my ellure plus?

Sounds like you have .dst files on your flashdrive. That is not the native language of this machine. If you convert files to .PES files then you will see the image

Hi! I am planning to buy a babylock machine. iread about, but I still don,t know what to buy between Sofia 2 and Ellure Plus.

Looking at the babylock.com website the Ellure Plus has more stitches although they are both machine embroidery machines. The Ellure Plus has a larger embroidery field than the Sofia though so this may well clinch it, 4" x 4" versus 5" x 7", I know I would go for the larger embroidery field so I didn't need to reset the hoop.

I guess though it comes down to price and will you use all the extra features of the Ellure Plus. If you are mainly doing clothing and home dec then you really don't need the embroidery features at all, its a personal preference though.

Have you been in for a demonstration and used both machines yourself? Sometimes the little things will crystilise the decision for you. Look at ease of threading up, lighting in the sewing area, size of the free arm and how easy it is to program and set up the embroidery functions. Then decide if the extra cost is worth it, sometimes its better to spend more now and not outgrow the machine's functions, but you know what your sewing needs are so its something you have to weigh up.

I need to service my Baby Lock Ellure sewing machine. Any information would be helpful.

All you do is clean the bobbin area - no oiling unless stated in the maintenance section of the manual.

If you do not have a manual, the Babylock website may have a download.
