Check tension, also look for pieces of lint, dirt, dust in area where bobbin is.

My stitch does not sew on right side of fabric. I sew & see the underside of the stitch. I remove the fabric & the stitch is on the underside.... Never known sewing machine to do this. Help!!

Hi. first thing is to remove the threads from the machine, top thread and the bobbin, and replace to manufactures instructions. If still the same the problem sounds as if there is no tension on the bobbin [under] thread, adjust to a light tension. Then adjust top thread tension until the knot is in the middle of the cloth. Most times people keep tightening the top tension..

My top thread keeps snapping on my consew 118. There are loops on the underside when I stitch with it and the thread keeps snapping at the needle. It is threaded right but it keeps happening literally...

The top thread breaks
1. the needle thread is not threaded properly
2. The needle thread tension is to tight
3. The needle is bent or blunt
4. The needle is incorrectly inserted
5. The needle thread & the bobbin thread are not set under the presser foot when starting to sew
6. the threads were not drawn to the rear after sewing
7. The thread is either to heavy or to fine for the needle
8. Try a different spool or cone of thread

Thread looping on the bottom of your fabric can be caused by little or no top tension or too much bobbin tension. Another cause is thread or lint caught in the top tension.
Make sure the thread is between the tension discs and that no thread or lint is caught

Kenmore sewing mechine

If it a problem on bottom you need to work on the top of machine. Try adjusting your top tenisons. Also rethread machine.

Bobbin tension

Masses of thread on the underside is actually a top tension problem. If you can see into the top tension area, make certain there are no jammed threads, lint, yecch in there. Lift and lower the presser foot lever and see if the tension opens and closes. If it does not, it may be stuck open and not putting any tension on the top thread. Make sure your top tension is set in the middle of its range.

Sewing on top is fine but bottom bobbin keeps sewing messy on the underside domesco sewing machine how do i fix?

It is in your top threading, it is not threaded right. Make sure that there is no tangles in your thread, no bent needle. Check your threading by, presser foot up, pull thread, it should move smoothly, put presser foot down and pull thread again, now it should hardly move. This will seat the thread in the tension discs.

Make sure your tension is set on 5 and you don't have dirt stuck in your tension unit.
