Question about Canon imageRUNNER 2200
Ok, open the front door and rack back the blue handle to free the developer unit. The unit that moved to the right as you turned the lever - pull it towards you as far as it will go - be careful though because the retainers in place to stop the unit falling out may have been removed and not put back. The whole unit would fall and you'd have a great mess. Now, once you've pulled out the unit far enough to reveal the top cover with verticle ridges on it running from the front to the back - unpack your toner cartridge. Before removing any seals or plastic, turn the cartridge with it's flat edge facing down and using the end of it with the longer ridge, slide it onto the unit that you've pulled out until you hear a click. The cartridge should now be sitting exactly on top of the unit with no overhang. At this point you grab the two blue handles on the unit and the handles on the cartridge and pull them slowly towards you. This will release the toner down into the developer unit. When the plate you have being pulling towards you is out to it's full extent, the cartridge gently to make sure all the toner drops into the dev unit and then push it all the way back in until it clicks and unlatches itself. The cartridge would now be closed and sealed to stop too much stray toner falling. Do this whole procedure slowly. If all was in place properly, you've just changed your toner - good luck.
