Make sure it is diesel #2 fuel as the incorrect fuel will cause it to smoke and clog the spray head. Also make sure the plug is getting good spark and the filter element is clean and unrestricted

Procom propane heater works fine until the fan comes on then it shuts down, works fine with fan running if the front cover is off ??? anything??

Sounds like when the cover is on it over heats. You need more air ventilation. Check for dirty filters or screen. Check whole machine. Not sure if that's the answer. Good luck.

I.ve changed my batteries and altanator on my 1998 dodge 3500 diesel and my check gauge light is still on and my gauge reads 10

Check alternator power wire from alternator to passenger power post with ohmmeter. Should have less than 1 ohm resistance. Next check the alternator sense circuit wire (brown) for battery voltage. This is part of the 2 wire connector that attaches to alternator. If these check out I'd advise further diag at a shop to prevent potential damage to pcm. I have seen the pcm be the cause of this problem.

I have a Master kerosene/diesel forced air heater. When plugged up the motor just hums. The fan turns freely until plugged up. Can I oil the motor somehow?

I don't think so. Not unless the electric motor has the two oiler ports. I have only seen oilers on older units. Newer units tend to use sealed bearings and they can not be lubricated.

Expert van 2lhdi 2005 very poor starting in cold weather had glow plugs and relay fitted still no better. i only do 3000 a year and mainly short jouneys less the 5 miles. new battery last year. it does...

Firstly fit a manual overide to the heater plugs .relay -push button type switch -wire -connectors ,run a wire direct from battery to relay ,other side to heater plug relay output so it feeds all the heaters ,push button inside cab with a 12v feed from ignition switch running to relay then other side of relay to earth ,leave vehicle on charge often on trickle charge where possible ,also on a full tank of diesel put in a litre of petrol to stop diesel waxing up ,nice old rug or blanket over engine and it will first time every time ,only use the petrol when weather below minus 5c though ,great vehicles these peugeots but i do like my ford transit

I have seen a problem like this before & the problem was at the bulkhead connector.
This is a great big plug. Most are under the master cylinder area down behind the wheel well. It's mounted on the wall right above where the brake peddle is. This plug carries in the area of 30 or more wires. It connects the inside compartment wiring to the under hood wiring. It may have been damaged or even loosened at some point to find a circuit, and then not replaced &/or sealed properly. The harness itself near the bulkhead connector may have been damaged and corrosion has worked itself into the wiring & when it gets damp enough more circuits are effected.

Did you try a web site for this unit.
It should be some instruction on the unit itself.

Pilot won't ignite

For SBP12,

It will take some time for the gas to get to the unit, just turn it on and wait. It might take 5 to 10 minutes to fill the line with gas.
