Will Kidde wireless smoke alarm model interlink with Kidde wireless smoke and carbon monoxide model

According to the Kidde website, model KN-COSM-B-RF can interconnect with "Up to 24 devices (of which 12 can be smoke alarms)", so I would say the answer is "yes". The Kidde website also offers a place where you can submit questions...I'm sure they would be happy to help you. Kidde KN COSM RF Battery Operated Wireless Interconnect Combination CO and...

My kidde model kn-cosm1b alarm goes off and ask to check battery but the battery is good

See the instructions for that model. Sometimes you need to wait a minimum period of time between removal of the old battery and installation of the new one. Also make sure you are positioning the battery correctly; sometimes batteries can be put in backwards easily. It is also possible that the device is just bad and needs to be replaced.

I have a KIDDE / NIGHTHAWK Combo Smoke / CO Alarm (Model #KN-COSM-IB). It is "chirping" once every 30 seconds. I understand this is an indication of alarm malfunction. My question is: what do...

Normally, that means the battery(s) need changing.. But, hundreds people have had problems with this combo detector, it's hard to predict what it is.

But, as I said earlier, "Normally that means the battery(s) need changing." The keyword here is "Normally".

Good luck. I hope that solves your problem.

I have the model #KN-COSM-IBCA.....I have recently changed the batteries but it still continues to chirp everynow and then...Does the model have an expiry date?....

If the display shows "Err", push and hold the Peak Level button. Does the display change to "E09"? If so, then you have just been "had" by the grossly under-documented "planned obsolescence feature" called, rather matter-of-factly, "End of Life". This means that ~7 years after first being powered up, the unit will, BY DESIGN, cease to function, forcing you to buy a replacement. Would have been nice of Kidde to include THAT warning on the OUTSIDE of the package. Call their "Hotline" at 1-800-880-6788 and tell them what you think of that policy. If it is still under warranty (5 or 7 years depending on date of manufacture) they should replace it. In any event, buy another one; if they replace your first one you will have twice the protection. Not a bad thing. *Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle. Words to live by: "Every creative act results from a sudden cessation of stupidity." -Edwin H. My Kidde Model # KN-COEG-3 keeps going off and lists 217 now 205 now again 217 and this is with the door open and fresh air coming into my place ??

I took the following from the Kidde website. They only answer the phone Mon-Fri, from 8-5, EST. I checked it out because my almost new Kidde CO detector is showing an Error code.
The next time your carbon monoxide alarm has ERR on the display, push and hold the Peak Level button. You will see an E and an O followed by a number.Contact our hotline at 1-800-880-6788 and provide us the error code, along with the model number, assembly number and date of manufacture from the back of your unit.If your unit is under warranty, a replacement will be mailed to you.
