First check wall outlet is bad or a house fuse has blown. Try another outlet. Test / replace if bad: power cord, fuse and on/off switch on projector. If these do not solve the problem, consult a professional service person.

Message says airfow blocked, turns on for about a minute then shuts off

1. Remove the air intake filters on your DLP projector. As explained by InFocus, a manufacturer of LCD and DLP projectors, each DLP model will house the air filters in a different location. However, for most DLP projector products, the filters are accessible by unclipping a simple plastic latch.

2. Wipe the air filters with a small cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol.

3. Blow compressed air into the unit's vents. This will force some internal dust out of the DLP projector, but you may still need to open up the unit for additional dust removal.

4. Unsnap the main cover from your DLP projector. Because DLP projectors need periodic lamp replacement, the main cover is rarely secured with screws or bolts. However, if the DLP projector's cover does not snap off, then you'll want to inspect the unit for possible screws or an alternate release latch.

5. Reach in and remove visible dust globs with a paper towel. Be careful to avoid touching the lens, as fingerprint smudges can diminish DLP projector image quality. If you accidentally smudge the lens while picking out dust blobs, wipe the lens with a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth.

6. Spray compressed air into your DLP projector to remove any lingering dust particles.

7. Close up the projector and reattach the filters.

Dell DLP projector won't turn on. Does anyone know a fix?

have you changed the lamp recently, or cleaned the air filter.
The internal fuse may be blown, or a whole lot of other things may be wrong, so we need more information otherwise it's off to a technicain to check it out.

No pwer to my D530 dlp projector

check the power cable first. also check is there is power on the wall out let to which the projector is connected. if all ok then the projectors smps power supply may be faulty. for testing the same u have to open the projector. fist check the input fuse. if fond faulty, do not insert a new one immediately. check is there is any component fault in the smps. only after insert the fuse.

Infocus dlp projector

Hi Gratztech1

If none of the light are coming on this could just be a fuse that has gone.

Open up the top cover of the unit and look on the Powersupply Board for a fuse and replace it ( it is the board with the AC socket on it )

Should do the trick !

Thanks for using Fixya and if you need any further assistance please send me a request.
