Question about Tricity Bendix Washing Machines

Here is something to try before you scrap it out.
Get down to the bottom of the freezer and find the compressor.
With the unit plugged in, find the "klix-on" which is mounted on the side of the compressor, and is about the size of your fist.
That is 2 parts-in-one, by the way.
Try to find the word "Klix-on" on one of the two pieces which are together.
Tap the klix-on with a small hammer a few times and see if the compressor kicks on.
If it does, replace the klix-on.
I bought one at my appliance parts store for $ 38.
God bless your efforts.
