Question about Televison & Video
First failure: Screen went mostly black except for a small area that gradually reduced in size until the whole screen was black. I replaced all the main board, power board, and t-con board (simultaneously). When I started the tv back up again, it seemed to be working (full screen image, bright, etc). But after about a minute of me navigating around the screen again went mostly black except for an area towards the bottom right that slowly went to black (from outer edges to the center). I don't want to give up on this TV and feel like there must be something shorting the boards to cause this failure. Is this TV junk? Is it something that can be fixed? Thank you for your help.
Your back light controller board or the ballasts for them may be bad if they weren't incorporated into the power supply board.
