The fuse keeps opening because the problem is more serious. If it did not blow, then more damage could be incurred in the TV. Sounds like you should consult a professional rather than not really knowing what you should be doing next.

Testimonial: "Gary thank you for you assistance. I understand it could be serious. Im and electrical engineer, however i dont understand what im missing. The tcon board was disconnected as well as the backlights, only the ps, main board, and the function cable for the controls on the side/power on. When i plug in 110VAC the led light is on. But once i hit the power on the smps clicks and blows the fuse. I dont know if there is a boot sequence since the main board was replaced, is the firmware thats needed. Can i power up with just these 3 connected or is the main board looking for feedback."

My Samsung LED 46" tv (UN46D6050TFXZA) won't turn on. The standby led blink twice 5 time in each cycle. all the capacitors on power board look normal.

In most of the case the problem is defective LED strips inside of the panel, please try this:

1. Unplug the cable between the main board & the power supply, apply the AC power to the power supply, if the back lights came on, the problem is defective main board.
2. if the back light do not come on, the problem in most of the case is the defective LED strips, you may get a new power supply module to test it again to make sure that the problem is not the power supply.

Samsung tv MODEL UN40F6300AFXZA

Please un-plug the cable between the main board & the power supply board, apply AC power to the TV, if the back light come on, that means the back lights & the power supply are OK, then you need to replace the main board; if the back lights does not light up, mostly the back light LED strip(s) is bad.

Samsung led TV model UN40H6203AF no picture no sound no backlights. Flashlight test shows letters on screen after pressing menu button. Standby light blinks 5 times after turning on.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

Some models of Sharp TV uses Philips main board. If your TV has such a board fitted, you should follow the blink count procedure for Philips. From your description itself, I do understand that your TV is fitted with such a board. The blinking code procedure seems so.
Counting of number of blinks to Philips TVs is entirely different to that of other brand TVs. It is not a direct count procedure. The site have details about how to count the number of LED blinks [Fault Codes] to Philips brand TVs are given; along with details of the faulty circuit location.

How do I fix my Samsung LCD TV?

It rather seems to depend on the model. I have seen Two videos on YouTube, one says it could be the LED back lighter, with a burned or shorted out LED(s). In the other it says it is the power supply board. But both were different Samsung TV's. The LED one if that looks tricky to do. If it is the power board, which I think it could be, you should be able to get the full board fairly cheap. Just be careful with the voltages when removing it, if you intend to do it yourself.
To see the Videos just type "Samsung TV blinking lights" into YouTube.
