Question about Hoover F7452-900 SteamVac Upright Vacuum
Make sure that you have it on the carpet setting and not the hardwood/tile setting. also if you used the hose, make sure that the little door is closed. if all checked... remove the recovery tank, there should be a rubber grament on the stand pipe under the tank, if it is there, then it would have to be the turbine assembly that drives the brushes

We had same problem,Had to have bearings replaced at hoover store/service center. If you bought it within the last year it is under warranty and you wont be charged.

Here is the manual that came with the vacuum if you didn't have it already, in it on page 13 of the pdf shows you how to remove the bottom brushes.
