Question about The Watches
Does this watch use a battery and that is why the second hand stopped working? Please advise

there are sync instruction on the manual page on the web.
1. Activate the Crystal.
2. Select the "units Mode".
3. Press and hold the "T" until it switched to "syncro" mode.
4. Now using the + and - move the hands to the 12 o'clock position.
5. Press "T" again to set.

pulling the crown out to position 2 and pressing button to zero it out one increment at a time is the way to do it do touch the watch hands. Works on fossil watches as well as tag watches

Absolutely astonished by this "solution" from escapement.
This watch is working perfectly - it is simply giving its "end of battery life warning".

and more simpler solution is found in the user guide:
To turn of beep, hold Reset buton and press Mode button, When all 7 day flags show, the hourly chime is on. When no day
flags show, the chime is off. Enjoy the silence :)
