I have a roper electric dryer model number is RGL4632DWO and I have purchased the coils for it, my question is where are they located at? I don't want to tear it a part without knowing about where they...

Remove plug from wall socket.
Remove back from dryer.
On the right side you should see a sheet-metal duct/tube.
Label and disconnect wires to parts going into this duct.
Remove duct.
Heating element (coils) should be in lower portion of the duct.

Dryer stopped working without any previous problems. Interior light also does'nt work. I have checked 220 outlet and door switch with meter. It is a Crosley Model # CDE8000W. It was as if it was unpluged....

could be a burnt wire in the unit, check the connection where the cord goes in to the dryer. You may have to take a couple of screws out to do so. Also check for 220volts where the cord connects to the dryer. Be careful with high voltage.

Crosley CDE8000W Dryer has electric burning smell and shut down

it is most likely the belt. the squealing noise is because the motor is turning, but the belt is not. a replacement belt is not too expensive and it is fairly easy to replace. if you need directions how to replace it, let me know

Dryer doing nothing

The fuse mounts on side of the heater. Its little clip is held to the side of the heater chamber by the same screw which holds the heater element down. It has 2 white wires going to it. Clean out the dryer and check for blocked vent and loose blower wheel. good luck Kimosabe. To access the heater pop the top:

Installed new timer forget to mark one wire on timer

I was just looking at the site and thought I could help. I know it has been a long time since your post but here it is. If you only have one wire left, put it in the last position remaining to tie/clip into. If there are more than one remaining, investigate for wear on the connections. There should be some scarring where you removed the old one. Match up the old with the new. Hope this helps.
