Question about Maxent Televison & Video
Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

SOURCE: blinking plasma tv
Hi alan, well any tv can be fixed but at what price, your fault sounds like a capacitor proberbly on the inverter board needs replacing,i have come across this problem quite a few times and it will take me 10-15 mins to diagnose and repair this type of problem and it is very inexpensive for the part.
Is the fault worse when the tv is first switched on from cold or does it get worse if the tv has been on for a while???
Hope this helps.

This site is BOGUS.
Invites you to post problems and "Ask an Expert" then wants you to pay a fee or you are SOL. Won't recommend and Won't be back

Common problem on these sets are many many bad caps on the digital board. Repair kits are available for these containing the necessary parts if you're savvy with a soldering iron. Otherwise, replacement of the digital board is necessary and you'll have to contact either Maxent or a local repair shop. Tracking down which caps are bad can be difficult even with the right equipment as some tend to check good while in circuit when they are actually bad.

SOURCE: maxent 42 inch plasma tv,
That means that either the video processor or the power to the plasma panel or the video final is gone. The only way to know it for sure is to take the cover off and testing the parts. Start by checking that both Vs (around 200v) and Va (around 70v) are present at the source, then check that the video final powered and is getting the signal from the processor and finally check everything in between. If you don't know how to do that (or what to do next if one of the voltages isn't there) then call a repairman, there's nothing more you can do to it.
