There is a 1ohm resistor on the 4x4 pcb as soon as you take off the cover. ( I forget the ID # ) It supplys the -15volts to the control bd. The resistor will not looked burned. It was under rated. An ohm meter will find it ( open ). Rreplace it with a 1/3 watt. I believe the orig. was a 1/4 watt.

the above is correct but you need to have the dvd player on with no disc in so "no disk" is shown on the front display. then hold down the stop button for 5 secs to reset the display mode back.

The Lg Model FB613 Micro Home Theatre Audio system goes to standby mode after 20sec when turned ON.Please help?

This could be a power problem. Mostly it is caused by the main power capacitor failing. Replace this and notify me if it works.

Hiya, my LG FB163 wont turn on, the standby light is on though. Help please.

This is a site that offers the diagrams on the unit, But it might not be something that you want to attempt. The issue is most likely the power supply and repairing those requires soldering ability and tools. https://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/163219759-lg-fb163-series-service-manual-repair
