Question about Carrier 44.9 cu. ft. Upright Freezer Beverage Air K Series KF48-1AS
Our 6yr old Beverage Air EF24-1AS FREEZER goes down only to 10F at night (should be 0F or below) and stays at 38F in the day (when the kitchen is being used + is warmer). we found a leak in the capillary tube, welded it, and also replaced the evaporator coil (originally thought that was also leaking, but not so). Freon has been recharged, & it is no longer leaking out. the fans inside the unit work fine. no excessive sweat or frost + all the components (compressor-evaporator-condenser) are kept clean, but the unit is not reaching 0F (after it initially did when recharged).
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
