Im not sure whether youre looking for a legally free anti-virus or not but a great free one is Avast. Goto www.avast.com and choose the free version ive been using it for years and never caught a virus and i do a load of downloading. Also i just noticed youre still on service pack 2 for added security you should goto the Microsoft website choose downloads and get service pack 3 then all the updates theres even over 90 updates nowdays just for service pack 3. Cheers from Scott and please vote

How can i delete virus from my pc using command prompt

I think isn't possible from there...I personally recommend to use an anti-virus software... The best for doing that is (Avast) the free version works perfect... i recommend it because Avast give you the option to make a boot time scan that scan your computer before windows start the processes where the must virus load and make it very difficult to remove... you can download it from (here)
once you have downloaded it > first: make sure that there is no other anti-virus installed, if one, remove it... Second: Install Avast... when the installation are almost finish it will ask you if you want to make a "boot time scan" click "yes", finish and restart your computer...When the laptop boot up you will see first the windows logo and then a blue screen...Avast will start to scan your hard drive...if any virus are found in your system it will ask you what to do... I normally use the second option "delete all" but you can do some other options. Hope it works for you!

Antivirus

Antivirus is basically a protection against viruses....

Basically it protects your pc from worms, trojans and viruses...

A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other nodes (computerterminals on the network) and it may do so without any userintervention.

A Trojan horse, also known as a trojan, is a piece of malware which appears to perform a certain action but in fact performs many different forms of codes.

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer without permission or knowledge of the user.
