Cause 1Lid Switch Assembly The lid switch assembly prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the lid switch assembly fails, the washer will not spin. To determine if the lid switch assembly is defective, use a multimeter to test the lid switch for continuity. If the lid switch does not have continuity, replace it.
Parts Cause 2Motor Coupling
The motor coupling connects the motor to the washing machine transmission. If the washer is overloaded, the motor coupling will fail in order to protect both the motor and transmission. The motor coupling can also fail due to normal wear. Inspect the motor coupling to determine if it is broken. If the motor coupling is broken, replace it.
Parts Cause 3Drive Belt
Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.

Try it with a few clothes placed along the outer walls of the drum. It has a sensor that will try to balance the load before going up to full speed but if there are no clothes or weight in the drum, it won’t start.

check belt and bearings

Turn off the water, take off the hoses and clean the screens therein. Put hoses back on and it should work. You may want to flush the hoses before connecting back to the washer just to be sure water is flowing.

My Haier front loader can not spin out correctly it's to loud and shakes back and forwarder spinning out on the wrong load because the size load button is struck in side the machine and won't pull out.

ihe clutch is not grabing in1 needs replacing clutch assembly.

my ge top load washer washes but wont spin at end of cycle to ring the clothes out. if i mess around with the switch or motor wire connections it starts to spin with some help
