This needs to be answered by a Physician Lesley, not a bunch of amateurs as we have here helping. I don't believe we have an doctors on our helper staff? We tend to fix cars, washing machines and phones and find instruction manuals.

Is she very overweight? Becoming 'pyretic', (hot) can be caused by having too much fat, and being overweight also causes shortness of breath.

If she isn't overweight, she may have a viral infection which is causing fever. The infection could be in her lungs. She needs a specialist.

Reply by COMMENT under my post is any further help needed.

Shortness of breath is medically called dyspnea, one of the very common problems that cause you lots of unpleasant feeling. This condition can derive from the excessive physical exercise or oxygen deprivation. After exercising intensively, you need to take a break, then the breath will turn normalized. However, there are also another causes leading to this problem. Home Remedies for Shortness of Breath Authority Remedies

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

I have a friend who has an auto immune disease??? of the lungs and needs a lung transplant...tell me more please...

Hello, Gavin -

You can learn more about a lung transplant on the well-respected US-based web site WebMD.com.

This is the link to the first page of information on WebMD regarding a lung transplant:
https://www.webmd.com/lung/lung-transplant-surgery#1

You probably will be able to learn more through your local public library and asking one of the reference / information librarians for assistance in finding information.

Best wishes.

What is fibrotic changes in the lung apex

ask a Doctor not FIXYA because your health could matter and only a trained medical professional can dispense proper advise but here is some information i found for you

Pulmonary fibrosis (literally "scarring of the lungs") is a respiratory disease in which scars are formed in the lung tissues, leading to serious breathing problems. Scar formation, the accumulation of excess fibrous connective tissue (the process called fibrosis), leads to thickening of the walls, and causes reduced oxygen supply in the blood. As a consequence patients suffer from perpetual shortness of breath.[1]
In some patients the specific cause of the disease can be diagnosed, but in others the probable cause cannot be determined, a condition called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. There is no known cure for the scars and damage in the lung due to pulmonary fibrosis.[2]

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) causes scar tissue to grow inside your lungs. Usually, when you breathe in, oxygen moves through tiny air sacs into your bloodstream. ... IPF scar tissue is thick, like the scars you get on your skin after a cut.

My mother is 75 she is constantly without breath. what can be the reason

After considering your mother's condition I think it would be best to get an appointed with a local doctor. As such cases have complicated matters for many reasons. With that, if your mother has any asthma or COPD issue then may try to use some home-based therapy like salt therapy using certain device like "Saltair" which can be found in stores like "salinetherapy"

What kind of herbs can be use to treat cancer?

A medical professional such as a doctor will give you the correct advice. I would recommend that you don't take any advice from people on the internet since you are dealing with a serious medical condition and taking the wrong action could potentially do a lot of harm :(

Can you please tell me Why your lungs fell with fluid? and if you had nearly 1 lt drained what does it mean

fluid on the lungs mainly comes from a lung disease such as pneumonia, pleurisy, bronchitis or items like cracked ribs punctured lung

the fluid on the lungs is a reaction to disease and the lack of deep breathing to expel the fluid and dry out the lungs.

Check with your doctor for exact causes of the fluid.

I have stoped smoking now im out of breath ?

It is possible your lungs are cleaning themselves out. They have never breathed so clearly.

Having said that, I highly recommend you see a doctor if you are experiencing regular shortness of breath
