Question about Concept CC-452 Car Audio Amplifier

1 Answer

Bridging CC-452 or CC-752 amps.

I have a CC-452 and two CC-752 amps. I'd like to know how to bridge one of them. Usually it's the positive lead of one channel and negative lead of the other channel. I'm just not sure which are the ones I should use. Thank you.

Either will work fine, as long as it's a + from one channel and a - from the other.

You will have to wire subs together for a 4 ohm load. Then bridge amp (1 channel). Look on amp speaker outs to see what leads to use to bridge. Run positive and negative to one speaker then use a jumper wire from that positive and negative to the next speakers positive and negative

How do I install a Rockwood AMP-326 amplifier? I'd like to bridge it.

Rockwood was a very low level brand. Alot of their amps were not brigeable. If bridge able the bridge terminals should be marked (usually the positive of 1 channel and the negative of the other channel). Under no circumstances bridge to less than a 4 ohm load.

Can my eclipse 4 channel amp 36401 be bridged on bchannel. and what would the ems be?

You can bridge the speaker outputs; positive from channel two(2) , and negative from channel one (1) : Positive from channel four (4) and negative from channel three (3).

I believe this will provide 140 watts from each bridged channel.

Pace posted on Saturday, March 05, 2005 - 01:08 GMT Your subs are dual 4 ohm voice coils so if you want to bridge your 2 channel amplifier to your two subs then wire them parallel, meaning the + to + and - to - ( Do this to both subwoofers), Then run a wire from one positive and one negative on each sub and bring the two positives together and the two negatives together and hook both positives to the far positive connection on your amp and connect both negatives to the other negative on your amp,

This will create a 4 ohm load on your amp.

Although if it's a two channel and you have two subs it's usually pointless to bridge them because if you use one channel per subwoofer its going to be the same as if both subs were bridged. example) 800 watts x 1 bridged power of your amplifie (4 ohms) is the same power as 400 watts x 2 at 2 ohms.

To bridge an amp, connect the negative speaker lead of a speaker to the negative terminal of the first channel, and the positive speaker lead of the SAME speaker to the positive terminal of the second channel.

Hello, can someone help me, i want to know how to connect the wires if i want to use 2 channel instead of 4. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In order to bridge an amp, you will connect the positive lead of a speaker to one positive input on the amp, and instead of connecting the negative lead to the negative input next to the positive input you just connected, connect it to the negative input on the neighboring +/- pair. For a 4 channel amp, there should be 4 +/- pairs. you will treat 2 of these pairs as one channel, and the other 2 pairs as the other channel. Do the process described above for the other speaker as well. Here is a link with helpful pictures: http://www.ehow.com/how_5305710_bridge-channel-amp.html

It has an A and B channel for spkrs and i have one spkr bridged. do i split the neg to side a and pos to side b or just use one of the channels?

Could you elaborate on how the speaker is bridged?

I think you want to hook up a single speaker to a stereo speaker output.

In this case, you would strap (bridge?) the right and left speaker terminals by running a short wire from A right negative to A left negative. Then strap A right positive to A left positive -- this will give you mono output on either of the right or left speaker terminals -- connect your speaker to either one of these.

Do you know what the ohm rating is for the speaker outs on the amp and also the speaker itself?

Want to bridge my alpine 3555 amp to run my sub.

I'm assuming this atleast a 2 channel amplifier all you need to do is hook the negative side of the speaker wire coming from the sub to the negative channel one. and the positive to another positive on channel 2. Should indicate on your amplifier channel one and two. most amps provide a diagram right on the amplifier over top of the speaker inputs. let me know if this helps.

Generally to bridge an amplifier you need to insert the positive wire from the sub to the positive wire on the first channel. And then insert the negative wire from the sub to the second channels's negative terminal.

Sony amp bridging

Your amp, being a 2-channel amp, should have 2 speaker connections with a negative sign(-) and 2 with positive signs(+)...Take your speaker wires (You will need 4 of them) and twist the ends of 2 of the together and put them into the negative spot on 1 side of your amp. Assuming you have 2 subs, connect them 1 to each sub and be sure they are on the negative sides of the subs or both are on the same side of the subs. Then do the same with the positive leads except to put them in the positive spot on the opposite side of the amp. So you will have the negatives from one side's outputs (or channel 1) and the positives from the other side's outputs (channel 2). Thus, your amp will be "bridged" across both channels. Hope this helps...just comment back if you need a diagram or something. And be sure to leave feedback please.
