Hallmark scrapbook 3.0 quit working and screen color on program changed. It appears that all the print options plain paper, photo paper, etc... now have locks displayed on them. Why?

How do I correct this? It is NOT a trial program. It is a purchased disc that has worked forever in this computer until now....bummed because I am working on Christmas projects and have no answers. Hallmark doesn't own the program, creative home does so Hallmark was unable to help. Creative home appears to be a web domain that is up for sale?

How to change to economy print

You should be able to use draft mode but you must make sure that you have not selected any photo paper options in the settings, I think it only works on plain papers

Black ink won't print and I just changed the ink

Try using the photo paper option instead of the plain paper option.

I was using plain paper but, selecting the plain paper option...I could barely read the print. The photo paper option worked great!

Hope it helps!

My R1900 is over 1 year old. Profiles are set for Epson glossy and matte paper. Epson ink is used. Colors are now very green when printing to glossy or matte paper. However, if I use the plain paper...

The difference in choosing the paper type will have an impact on how head squirts ink onto the media. For Epson printers, the best choice to fit the color is plain paper. However, to the maximum dpi (best photo or photo rpm), plain paper does not support. This can be overcome by adjusting the color management of the program that we use.Or convert to bitmap all objects (such as Corel Draw), or also in print as bitmap option.

When I print photos, they have uniform vertical streaks.

Issue: Banded or streaked prints
Solution: Change the Print Quality Settings (Windows)

Change the Print Quality Settings (Windows) The Quality setting controls how finely ink droplets are placed on the printed page. Depending on the type of paper being used a higher Print Quality setting does not always insure a better print. Print speed will decrease as the Print Quality setting is increased. Follow the instructions below to change the print quality settings in the Canon printer driver for the Windows operating system through a printing application.
  1. Click 'Properties' in the Print dialog box.

Note: Depending on the Application software, 'Properties' may be displayed as 'Preferences'.

  2. Set the desired print quality in the 'Print Quality' section.

  3. Select 'High', 'Standard', or 'Draft / Fast'.
To set more detailed print quality settings, follow this procedure:
  1. Select 'Custom' and click 'Set'.

  2. In the Set Print Quality dialog drag the slide bar from 'Fast' to 'Fine' to select the print quality.

    win_print_quality_slider.jpg

Note: There are five options in 'Quality'. However, selectable options are limited depending on the media type.

  3. Select 'Auto', 'Dither', or 'Diffusion' from the 'Halftoning' section.

I assume you're using photo paper.

Go to File/Print. Click Properties. Click Media Type and chose the photo paper you are using, whether it's Photo Paper Pro or whatever. If you're printing using Plain paper and you have photo paper in the printer, you'll get the stripes.

Hope that helps
