SOURCE: pool pump intex 51 pumps water but return flow is low

if you cartridge is completly clean then start by disconecting the out tube that goes to the pump housing
sometimes debris gets caught there entering your pump.
a little hair causes other things to back up

once you are satisfird that those 2 things are ready then close it all up and open the bleeder cap on top of the cartridge holder

Now let water in from the suction side
when water starts coming out of the bleeder cap then open the return side
Now turn on the puimp
let it run for 20 seconds and then close your bleeder

Should be working fine after that.

dont forget to leave the bleeder cap alone on the bottom of the canister unless you are draining the water from the canister to clean it. As soon as you are done close it back up

SOURCE: I keep getting low flow warnings and I have

It is not your sensor

Most likely you either have air in the system or a blockage

A blockage can occur at the front of the motor from skimming or direct suction
you would be surprised what sneaks through the pre filter screens
Undo the hose in front of the motor first
there is a plastic housing screen that usually gets clogged

If it is air drain the hoses and the filter cartridge housing
now blast out your cartridge with a strong garden hose
Put it all back together
now open all bleeders except the one on the bottom of the cartridge housing
open dishcharge hose side first
when water starts coming out of the bleeders then open the inlet hose

Turn on pump for 30 seconds and then close the bleeders this should do it

My intex purespa hot tub model# SJB-HS-10 is flashing E96. I called intex, and they would not even help me trouble shoot it. I was told to buy the whole new control.

Answer
E96 means the PureSpa is experiencing a system error. If the control panel displays this error, turn off the system and unplug it. Plug the unit back in and restart it. If the error persists, turn it off and unplug it. After unplugging it, unscrew the B and C connection until water starts to leak out. Do not unscrew them to the point that they come off of the tub as you can lose all the water in the tub. Loosening them until the leak will release any air from the control base. Tighten the connections and restart the unit. If problem persists, please contact the Intex Service Center for assistance.

What chemicals do I need in my intex inflatable hot tub

Hi, according to this site How to Treat Your Hot Tub Best Hot Tub for 2014
First check th pH levels with the pH level checker. That is pretty straightforward and should be included in instructions with your pH checker (which may have come with your hot tub)

It's good to do a chlorine shock once you fill the hot tub with water.

So what will you need?
pH tester/pH tester strips
chlorine
And chemicals for balancing ph ... pH+ and pH- which you will surely find in a shop with pools.
Each of this should come with instructions.
Good luck!

Why does the bubbles come on when I turn on the heat on Intex PureSpa Hot Tub

im sorry to let you know, but water intrusion (splashing) to inside the control box and hence all sort of "gremlin" behavoiur is very common with these units
the perm fix that i have done for this is to replace control unit , have an electrician add longer wires to pump and sensor and i moved control box to other side of patio , where its not as likely to get splashed allso i added a waterproof roof to it as well to shed rain water away from it , so far so good as it's worked ok for four years that way

What does SPH MEAN?

When you have an SPH error it means you could have an over heated power pack, or you have a water flow issue, or possible damaged equipment. Here is the three trouble shooting items you can look for.

1. Your water temperature is lower then 60 degrees (Turn the unit off and let it cool down and then turn it back on, this may fix the issue)
2. Your water inlet or outlet is blocked or partially blocked (Clean the inlet and outlet of the hot tub)
3. Your heater sensor is not working (you may have to replace the heater element or circuit board)

No water flow e90 fault code intex pure spa

Unplug the unit. The E90 code on the intex spa is due to a dirty water flow sensor. Remove the control panel and all the screw holding the casing on. In the white plastic piece on the discharge, top hose, you will see a silver nut with a black wire coming from it. That's the sensor. The black wire is plugged into a white wire, carefully unplug it and unscrew the sensor. Clean it good and blow out the hole it goes in. This will fix the code and you will be back in business!

Will a flow switch stop the tub of any operation

Is the board getting power, is the control lighting up?
Do you see any error codes on the top side control?
Improper flow will give you an error code, caused by flow issues or a faulty flow switch. Make sure all gate valves are open and the water can flow freely.
If not then check your Hi Limit sensor. This is the overheat safety sensor if it fails the tub will not function at all.
